Overview
The Priory of the Temple Church membership comes primarily from the State of Florida and Southern Alabama. The Priory currently has three Preceptories. The Preceptory of Hugh de Payens is located in Central & North Eastern Florida, the Preceptory of Geoffrey de Charnay is located in Tallahassee, Florida and Southern Alabama, and the Preceptory of the Holy Trinity is located in Southern Florida.
Since becoming a Priory, various events have been planned each year, including two convents occurring in the spring and fall. Throughout the year the Priory also has various smaller meetings and get-togethers to foster a sense of community.
The Priory has supported several scholarships for students in the Holy Land through the charitable arm of SMOTJ, the Raymond Davis Foundation.
